This is to be determined. MSHAA officials
who are willing, and we may recruit college campuses as well.
7. Is there a standard "playbook"
or type of play calling that the league would provide to "rookie coaches or rookie teams?
It is our intent to meet with coaches to discuss limitations for the first year. In addition, the league
is prepared to teach coaches in need of assistance. We want godly men first, so we are prepared to assist
those who feel they need help with the coaching end of things.
8.
Will kids outside of home schooled or Christian school kids be allowed to play, and can kids who are not Christians,
play?
It is not our intent to exclude anyone, but there are some parameters.
There is a standard of play expected that would glorify Christ. We have standards for our coaches
so they will be qualified to lead and model proper behavior for the players. We want families attracted
to the league and will welcome them, when approached. In order to keep a Christian environment on each
team, we will have a “cap” for the number of kids coming from outside the Christian environment. We
do not want a situation where ungodliness is the standard that Christian kids have to fight off. It should
be the other way around. There should be a Christ likeness present with each program that will have a positive
influence. Any kids allowed on teams must participate in weekly worship such as at a sponsor church, such
as going with a friend who is home schooled, to his church.
