Fund-Raising Options
Direct
sales – Batteries and coffee. Two items
that people all over use/consume regularly.
1.
We
have two good fundraisers, one with Interstate Batteries, which is a Christian
owned company, and a coffee fundraiser.
2.
Our
goal is maximum participation, not just so we can drive down costs, but that we
can make our league more attractive to companies. Our hope is that the more product we can
move, the better pricing we will get (We are already moving ahead with coffee),
and our longer range hope is to have sponsorship money coming to the league
from companies. This will result in our
league being able to reduce out of pocket to players.
3.
Right
now, we are looking at registration and fund-raising as a 50/50 ratio. The more we can raise, the more we
can reduce registration fees.
4.
As
we develop patterns, it will become more predictable what we can fund-raise from
season to season so we can accurately reflect smaller registration fees.
Bottom line: We are asking for your willingness to fully
back our fund-raising efforts as we believe we will see God honor a unified
commitment. We saw improvement last
year, which allowed us to pay down our debt to equipment providers. We saw people embrace the reality that we
Christian boys need to work hard and we saw God honor us and we took our debt
seriously.
